Kupalo Eve , Thursday July 6 6-9 pm. Flower wreath making, ancient summer solstice songs from Latvia, Lithuania, and Ukraine; Bonfire; and Honeyberry Shortcake! Tanya will demonstrate flower wreath weaving, done in Slavic traditional style with no twine. Maria and Josh will teach gorgeous traditional and contemporary summer solstice songs. Then we’ll light a bonfire in our beautiful verdant apple orchard (weather permitting), sing and dance together, and eat honey berry shortcake.
